West Cork - Unionhall

This is the peaceful fishing village of Unionhall. This photograph was taken in the early morning; even the fishermen seemed to be asleep! This area is tidal but further along there is a deep water quay. In the town is the Ceim Hill Museum featuring archeaological exhibits, Irish heritage, traditional lace & linen, Irish War of independence and more.

Both Dinty's and Casey's offer a warm welcome and superb food including locally caught seafood.
