This is the peaceful fishing village of Unionhall. This photograph was taken in the early morning; even the fishermen seemed to be asleep! This area is tidal but further along there is a deep water quay. In the town is the Ceim Hill Museum featuring archeaological exhibits, Irish heritage, traditional lace & linen, Irish War of independence and more.
Both Dinty's and Casey's offer a warm welcome and superb food including locally caught seafood.
This view is from the narrow road that follows the hill to the south of the village.
Another view with superb Irish light; a photographer's paradise!
