Red Funnel were also advertising their car ferry in 1955. The ship looks a bit like the one on the 'Fisherman's Friends' throat lozenge packet! It is actually the MV Balmoral, sister ship to the Waverley, built in 1949 and still in service round the coasts of Britain each summer. There is a book just published to celebrate her 50th birthday.
